The educational system points to the various needs of the society concerned, because it is towards the fulfillment of the same that education is organized. If the culture of a society is chiefly materialistic, the education system there is based on competition and the efforts of the individual there, is directed towards the achievement of material goals, and nor towards spiritual or aesthetic ones. If individualism is at the top in a culture the educational system of the society, too, becomes colored by individualism. The educational system of a place is of a very ordinary standard, if its culture is not well developed, because then in the learning process very ordinary interactions are possible.

In such a system formal education is very inadequate, because the purpose of education becomes generally limited to learning of very ordinary things pertaining to social life. In other words, the main purpose of life, then, becomes limited to protections of ones society, carving out a living, safeguarding against evil designs of neighbors and other enemies and worshipping the accepted gods and goddesses. Formal education is not necessary for learning all these, because these things may be learnt through ones own experiences. But when the culture becomes complex, then it is necessary to transmit the various elements of culture from one generation to another. Above we have seen that culture has its unending impact on the development of ones personality. Therefore, the kind of education depends upon the nature of culture of the society. In all these agencies only those parts of culture are effective which are accepted by all concerned.

We must not forget that in the educational process an individual chooses for own options from among the various experiences. Before making a judgment we have to take into account the type of culture which he happens to represent. In the solution of a problem the various children will display different attitudes. In fact, an individual thinks only in that manner which the society enjoins all to follow. According to the home and the general environment the children represent different cultural backgrounds. Therefore for the guidance of children the teacher should understand the various elements of their sub cultures, i.e. He must closely study the home and the surrounding environment of the child from which the elements offshoot.

The teacher should also understand the cultural motivations of parents, as the same are closely related with their expectations regarding education of their children. There are various ways to learn, and learning styles differ from person to person but no one’s learning style is better than another’s is.  however, there are various types of learning and the most important ones are through seeing, listening and through touch experience. Therefore, learners can be classified by the way they learn and depends on which sense organ they use the eye, ear or their hands to learn. When we are small, our mothers often warn us not to go near fire or the stove or anything hot as it can cause burns on our body. Those who listened to their mothers did not touch or go near the fire because they believed in their words.  some saw their older siblings touch fire, and got burnt and so through seeing they learnt the experience. Others actually touched the fire and learnt that fire does cause burns and this was a simple case of learning experience.

The children learn and take an active part in the situation created by the teacher in the classroom. This in turn gives the pupil encouragement to give answer in different situations. This becomes a learning experience which will help pupil to modify his behaviour. Students need to be actively involved in tasks that are achievable, useful, relevant, and challenging if they are to respond successfully to the curriculum challenges posed to them.

The teaching methodology recommended in this curriculum is the pattern of experience information application action. All instruction begins with the students’ experience, so that subsequent teaching may be connected to it. The students are then required to apply that information, helping them to absorb the information. Finally, the students recommend or take some action which will show that the learning has made a difference in their lives. Experiential learning: experiential learning is inductive, learner centred and activity oriented. Personalized reflection about an experience and the formulation of plans to apply learning to other contexts are critical factors in effective experiential learning.
