Essay on Real Friendship TextI wrote this because this is all my experience and my opinions of real friends. Real friends are those who will stick with you no matter what and won’t say things that will bring you down. When someone does that to you it makes you feel better and it shows that they’re good friends. You know someone’s a good friend when you get in a huge fight with them, and they can forgive each other and laugh about it. People say they have lots of real friends that will be there no matter what, they’re the lucky ones. I don’t really have a lot of those because i can’t trust them because they don’t make me feel like i can by there actions. I usually have trouble trusting people with things because i am afraid of how they will react. Some people would say that real friends would just tell you the truth about something without concern of how they say it, but they need to think about that they can still be honest. Do real friends make you feel bad when you’re around them? would someone you consider to be a real friend say this to you you’re a really good friend but just to let you know, you’re really ugly and no one likes you? how would you think of that person? i would say that person obviously doesn 039 t understand what it means to be respectful. Someone once showed me this quote from gandhi and it really shows what i’m trying to say be the change you wish to see in the world. When people have to go out of there way to impress people to be there friends, they aren’t real friends. Real friends are those who come up to you and they will enjoy you the way you are, not who you are trying to be. For me, it’s difficult because i’m not very social and i am considered weird to others. Out of all the people you meet in life, only a few of them will stay with you the whole way. You’ll be surprised with how many friends you think will be there for you when you need them and those who you don’t even have to ask for help, they are just there for you no matter what. In general we want true friends without which the world is nothing but a wilderness. Melting Pot EssayA friend is someone who shares the special moments and memories of life with another person. As told by bacon, a principal fruit of friendship is the ease and discharge of the fullness and swellings of the heart, which passions of all kinds do cause and induce. It is true friend to whom one may impart grief's, joys, fears, hopes, suspicions, counsels and whatsoever lie upon the heart to oppress it. This communicating of a man's self to his friend works two contrary effects, for it redoubles joys and cuts griefs in halfs. It makes daylight in the understanding, out of darkness and confession of thoughts. By an hour's discourse with a friend, one can get valuable suggestions to overcome one's problems. Men have their time and die many times in desire of some things which they principally take to heart the bestowing of a child, the finishing of a work or the like. If a man is lucky enough to have a true friend, he may rest almost secure that the care of those things will continue after him. But compromises, devotion and the willingness to endure aire bound to pay off in the end. They can ditch at any moment, they can cheat to any extent, hence one should be very alert while making friends. While friendship with a true man fills one's life with good moments, friendship with a false person makes the life worse than hell. All seem to be very attractive in their modern styles and fashions, but they are not those to whom we may expose ourselves. Before doing it, we have to be sure that the persons with whom we want to develop friendship are true. Real and true friendship involves freedom of choice, accountability, truth, and forgiveness. Peter and jesus give us this example: peter, afraid for his life after jesus is led away from the garden of gethsemane, denies knowing jesus john 18. As he is led away by his accusers, jesus casts a look toward peter that says, i knew you would deny me, and i forgive you john 21. Genuine friendship loves for love 39 s sake, not just for what it can get in return. It risks, it overlooks faults, and it loves unconditionally, but it also involves being truthful, even though it may hurt. Relationships in real life involve different levels of friendships, and that 39 s okay. Music While Writing Papers
