High school seniors who meet the criteria for admission to kenyon college are welcome to submit applications for this competition. Those wanting to be considered for the kenyon writing award must submit their scholarship form by january 15. Each scholarship ranges up to $15,0 per year and is renewable for four years as long as the student maintains an overall gpa of 3.0 or higher. Kenyon writing awards are determined on a competitive basis and require the following: completion of both the common application and a kenyon writing award form. after you submit your common application, within days you will receive log in information for your kenyon admissions portal account to upload your portfolio material. a portfolio uploaded onto your admissions portal account. This material should be limited to five pages and use double spacing, 1 inch margins and 12 pt font. Submissions may include a variety of work, for example, five different one page poems or one short story.
